Particularly on large trucks and Hummer SUV’s – you can save huge money – as much as 25% from typical prices. Right now the automakers pain is your gain in prices and rural dealers such as Fallon Nevada and the Auto Mall are the place. We haven’t blogged in a while, but the prices have become truly compelling this month with the bankruptcies of the large automakers.

They didn’t have any photos at the dealership, but we’re scouting the internet for them. We love our Landcruiser’s ruggedness for the Nevada wilderness and are ready for a replacement of our aging SUV. Stay tuned for updates on this very cool new vehicle.

Once we get an eye full of this new truck – I know we’ll hit up the Fallon Auto Mall to get the best deal in Nevada.  It’s a bit of a drive – but it is worth it….

]]> http://falloncar.com/?feed=rss2&p=7 0 What do you do when your new car has issues? http://falloncar.com/?p=5 http://falloncar.com/?p=5#comments Mon, 14 May 2007 14:30:27 +0000 Andy http://falloncar.com/?p=5 Toyota Camry  We’re grappling with the world of “vibration rattles” with our #1 in the country Toyota Camry.  The 2007 car looks great and drives great but it has annoying rattles when you drive on rough pavement.  We’ve been into the dealer multiple times and they’ve made a valiant effort to tie down the various plastic pieces – but the Nevada roads are taking its toll.  We’re running out of ideas and various Toyota Camry forums show a lot of people having the same problem.  We bought the vehicle at the Fallon Auto Mall and got it for right around sticker price – not the greatest deal — but it was a very convenient location.

  • Mercury
  • Toyota
  • Ford
  • Dodge
  • Chrysler
  • Jeep

The auto mall does not offer General Motors (Chevrolet, Hummer, etc.) products which is unfortunate.  They advertise low prices and in fact encourage Reno residents to drive out to save money.   We’ll learn more about the Fallon Auto Mall in this review and upcoming research.

Directions:

You’ll find the Fallon Auto Mall in the center of Fallon on W. Williams Avenue, which is also Hwy 50.

From Reno/Sparks – Take I-80 east to Fernley exit 48. Go right. After the overpass, turn left at the light onto Highway 50.

From Elko – Take 80 west to Highway 95 south. In Fallon, turn right on West Williams Ave. (Highway 50).

From Carson City – Take Highway 50 east to Fallon.

From Ely – Take Highway 50 west to Fallon.
